As a prank, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak sometimes buys uncut sheets of $2 bills from the U.S. Treasury and has them bound into booklets. Then, when buying small items, he’ll pull out a booklet and cut off a few bills with scissors.

Recently, I’ve been tardy for work. That’s no secret. Everyone in the office knows. But the truth is, I have perfectly good explanations for being tardy. I had a really bad case of the Mondays for most of last week, and I couldn’t bring myself to get out of bed until well after noon. On Friday morning, I was called in as an expert witness for a Supreme Court hearing, and that’s why I was an hour-and-a-half late. This week, my toaster oven broke and I couldn’t heat up my breakfast Hot-Pocket in time, so I missed seven consecutive buses.
